Last Tuesday, April 16, we began the field season.
At Tintoremus we have started transplanting our indigo seeds. These seeds have been developing in trays inside water pools since February, and they are ready for their next challenge: The field.
Our 10-hectare crop in the town of Talayuela (Spain) is now ready and has about 352,000 plants of the Persicaria Tinctoria and Indigofera Tincotria variety.
In a few months we will begin cutting the leaves and with the dye extraction method.
