Native to Central America, these flowers have played an important role in diverse cultures, from the South America to India.
Ideal for dyeing cotton, it can be used for garment dyeing, yarn dyeing (skein form), and fiber dyeing.
With 50 grams of this dye, between 100 and 400 grams of fiber can be dyed, depending on the desired shade and intensity.
It also has antibacterial, antimicrobial, and astringent properties.

Use between 3% - 6% of pigment on the total textile fiber to be used, depending on the required color intensity.
